We always look forward to Halloween. On the last day before the holidays, we dress up and we play Halloween games. We have to try and bite the hanging apple, dunking in the water for the treats, fortune telling, putting the wart on the witch and we have bairín breac as well. The fortune teller tells us our future; if we pick the ring, we will get married, if we pick the money, we will be rich, the rosary beads tells us if we will become a nun or a priest, the turf will tell us if would be poor and the water told us that we would be travelling the world. We had great fun making up stories for ourselves.
