Making Rice Krispie Buns - September 2023

We researched and found a nice recipe to make chocolate Rice Krispie buns. Our teacher brought in the equipment and ingredients for us. We needed a bowl, a bun tray, rice krispies, bun cases, cooking chocolate, marshmallow and sprinkles. First we put the cooking chocolate into the microwave to melt. We poured the rice krispies into a bowl and then added the melted chocolate. We took it on turns to mix the chocolate and the rice Krispies together. After that we used a spoon to put the mixture into the bun cases. We decorated the buns with sprinkles and marshmallows and put them in the fridge to set. We ate them at lunchtime and they were delicious. We shared with the children in the junior room and the teachers.
